Hello Everyone,
A quick note to those entities who are filing your FCC Form 471's. First, congratulations for getting it done early and out of the way. The review team at USAC called Program Integrity Assurance (PIA) have started reviewing Form 471's and are sending emails to entities with questions about the application. If there is anything I can assist on these questions please feel free to email or call me. I am happy to assist.
Good Luck!

FY2020 Form 471 Window is NOW OPEN!!!
Hello Everyone,
The FY2020 Form 471 Application Window officially opened at noon yesterday. If you haven’t yet posted your Form 470 for services that must be competitively bid for FY2020, you still have some time to do so, but not much. Although the Form 471 deadline is March 25, and therefore the last possible date to file the Form 470 is February 26, applicants – especially public schools -- should have your 470’s released as soon as possible so you have time to take the contracts to your board meeting(s) for approval. I recommend that you have all 470s filed no later than February 1.
471 Window:
Opened January 15th
Closes March 25th
Last Possible 470 for FY2020:
February 26th
Happy Filing!
Todd

EPC Student Enrollment Update Instructions
Hello Everyone,
Since the Administrative Window will be closing on January 13th, I thought I would include instructions on how to find the page to actually make the changes to your student population. If you have multiple entities, you'll need to make the change to each one separately.

January 2020 E-Rate Filing Update
Happy New Year Everyone,
Welcome to 2020!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and you are refreshed and ready to take on the upcoming filing window for FY2020. If you have not started the process for FY2020…NOW IS THE TIME!!!
Below are some important
pieces to remind you for the FY2020 filing window:
FY2020 FCC Form 471 Filing Dates:
- Form 471 window opens noon EST on Wednesday, January
15, 2020
- Form 471 window closes on 11:59 pm EST on Wednesday, March
25, 2020
- Last day to file your FY2020 FCC Form 470 is February 26, 2020
*Please do not wait until the last minute to file
your Form 471.
*If you are in a multi-year contract with your
provider you do not need to
file a Form 470. File your Form 471 early in the window.
Category 2 Change for FY2020 and FY2021:
If you missed my message
about the new funding allocations for both FY2020 and 2021, please see my blog
post below. There is additional money available for FY2020 that will not be
available for FY2021. Take advantage if you can.
Administrative Window and NSLP data in EPC:
If you haven’t done so
already, be sure to update each school’s enrollment and NSLP data in your EPC
portal by January 10. USAC hasn’t yet given us the exact Admin Window
deadline yet, but it should be open until at least that date. The data in your
EPC portal will determine your FY2020 E-Rate discount and serve as the basis
for each school or library’s Category 2 budgets. It’s important that you update
this data if you haven’t done so already.
As always, please
reach out to me at tlawrence@sde.idaho.gov
if there are any questions that I can assist you with.
Happy Filing!
Todd
